Lalo is zero-waste ethically made one-of-a-kind garments for women and children.
My design process is an intuitive juxtaposition of vintage and reclaimed fabrics. I embrace the challenge of reclaiming and re-purposing fabric and extending the lifespan of these materials. Designing within these restraints pushes the creative process and supports my personal philosophy of sustainable and ethical practices.
At a time when fast fashion, wasteful consumption and short-term trends are the norm, I am a proponent of Slow Fashion, a sustainable movement that values well-made garments with a timeless design. These environmentally conscious principles guide my production, where the end result is an intentional, utilitarian and functional garment with a minimal and modern aesthetic.
